MOS 216. External UAV Pilot. WeTrueGun School.

WeTrueGun trains specialists in one of the most in-demand roles in today’s Ukrainian military — external UAV pilot.

We only accept civilians for free training, and only those who are willing to sign a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Recruits entering our training center undergo a military-focused program that is significantly different from what is taught in regular FPV drone schools.

Training lasts at least 35 days. We don’t just teach how to fly FPV drones — we teach how to fight smart, to survive and stay healthy while effectively destroying the enemy.

After completing the course, recruits take an internal exam. Then, with our support, they proceed to a Ukrainian Armed Forces training center, where they take the official exam and receive MOS 216 — External UAV Pilot.

The WeTrueGun UAV Pilot Training Center works closely with reputable military units and formations. Our graduates are assigned to serve under the best commanders, in the best RUBpAKs and other units where UAV pilots are in high demand. If you already have an agreement with a particular unit, we’ll make sure you are sent there after training.

WeTrueGun also maintains excellent relations with local TCCs (Territorial Recruitment Centers) and SPs, which ensures all paperwork is handled properly and our graduates are guaranteed to be assigned to their chosen units — as UAV pilots.

Duties:

• Performing combat tasks during operations and training exercises
• Participating in defensive combat
• Contributing to the restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity
• Maintaining assigned weapons and military equipment
• Fulfilling service duties according to the Armed Forces’ statutes

Requirements:

• Ukrainian citizenship
• Willingness to contribute to national defense
• Age between 18 and 60
• No medical conditions preventing military service or contract enlistment
• Completion of the UAV pilot training program at the WeTrueGun center and successful exam results

• Mandatory Basic Military Training and passing the exam for MOS 216 at a partnered Ukrainian Armed Forces training center
• Continuous qualification upgrades, with opportunities for retraining or role changes
